Emulators

For most versions of Repton, and Bonecruncher, you will not be able to play them unless you are lucky enough to still own a retro computer, or unless you find a suitable emulator. This section lists the ones I tend to use. I've also included some others which are apparently as good.

BBC Micro/Master emulator for Windows/Mac OS X/Unix

BBC Micro/Master emulator for Risc OS
Acorn Electron emulator for Windows/Unix
Note: I have successfully managed to play all of the Electron versions of the Repton games in BeebEm.
Acorn Electron emulator for Windows/MacOS
Note: I have successfully managed to play all of the Electron versions of the Repton games in BeebEm.
Archimedes emulator for Windows/Unix
Archimedes emulator for Mac OS (ported by Jon Welch)
RiscPC emulator for Windows
Requires a RISC OS ROM image to work. RISC OS 5.22 from ROOL works quite well.
Commodore 64/128 emulator for Windows/Mac OS X/Unix/Risc OS
Free Sinclair Spectrum emulator for Windows/Mac/Unix/etc
Sinclair Spectrum emulator for Windows/iOS
There is a free demo available, otherwise it'll cost you to download.
Amstrad CPC emulator for Windows
Universal Amiga Emulator for Windows/Mac/Unix/etc
This is supplied with a Kickstart ROM, but I found it to be incompatable with Bonecruncher. Try and source a Kickstart ROM image from an actual Amiga (these can be purchased).
